
You can also choose to keep lower-resolution photos on your phone while allowing the full-resolution ones to remain in iCloud. If you skip that last step, you won't free up any space for a month, as your iOS device hangs on to deleted photos for 30 days, just in case you change your mind. Tap Select, and then at the bottom tap Delete All. Then navigate to Albums > Recently Deleted. Google Photos will even delete them for you as they get uploaded, if you trust that option. To delete apps from the home screen, place your finger on an app you want to delete and hold. Any purchased app is always available to re-download again at no extra charge from the App Store. On that device storage page, look for apps you don't use.
