Theu plan to go hone and som returns with the husband cool. We have a long term renter now a couple here on business. I don’t intend to lie to my host and in fact I was very transparent I just feel like people are breaking these rules all the time with air b and bs. I understand that in general it depends on the host but what is the policy for most air b and bs? Like if I was not with my partner and I went out to the bars and brought somone home for the night then would that also not be allowed. However I wanted to know if this was totally different for Air B and Bs. So like if a friend came into town and visited me I would tel my landlord and it wouldn’t be a problem. I thought a long term air b and b would work similar to an apartment. It looks like it will be basically $500 more to add a guest for the time I will be there and I am not sure I would really want to pay that. In our conversation I found out that there is an extra cost for having a guest which would make sense but my partner will be there like 4 days every month. When me and the host began talking about everything immediately told them that my partner will visit occasionally, every other weekend at most, and she said “why did you book for one guest if there is 2” and I explained that they wouldn’t be there very often but my host still seemed uneasy.
I booked an Air B and B a few days ago for 1 guest. So I am traveling to another city for work for a few months and my partner will be 3 hours away from me during this time.
